Simon Richardson
/As Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Simon Richardson brings more than 20 years of IT industry experience to ITogether.
Simon manages the overall technical strategy and service delivery of the business as well as its day to day activities and product and service portfolio. An expert in enterprise network security, Simon is focused on driving the growth of ITogether’s corporate client base through its world class vendor portfolio and managed services.
Before founding ITogether in 2005 Simon was Technical lead for England at Sopra Newell & Budge. Prior to this role, Simon spent seven years as the Northern Region Technical Team Lead for Harrierzeuros Ltd, part of Harrier Group plc, which provided a range of information protection, assurance and continuation security services to businesses.
Simon’s role also included vendor and bespoke training and he has developed, written and delivered a number of bespoke networking courses. Prior to this Simon worked for Netscape Communications and Integralis and helped to co-found European Internet Technologies. Simon is CISSP certified.
Outside of ITogether Simon enjoys spending time playing in the garden and cycling with his daughters Ella and Eve. He is a keen snowboarder and follower of motorsport and is an annual visitor to one of the Alps and to Circuit de la Sarthe. Simon is currently learning to fly and hopes to soon gain his private pilot’s licence.
