Dan Cluderay
/As an entrepreneurial market trader in Hull and Doncaster, Dan founded Approved Food in 2008 after identifying a gap in the market for a value driven online retailer – specialising in short-dated and residual stock food and drink. A former Sony Ericsson telecoms engineer, Dan developed the software that now forms the base of Approved Foods operations and allows the business to monitor and process in excess of 600 orders per day. Approved Food is the largest online retailer of short dated and residual stock food and drinks.
Dan may be known for appearing on "Dragon's Den" in February 2015 where he was ousted from the Den - only to come up trumps with £400k investment the day after the show was aired from a Yorkshire Company.
Approved Foods has recently been named as one of the Top 500 UK Internet Retailers.
